I am researching McDonalds at Killearnan. My husband's great grandfather Thomas was born in Killearnan in 1839, son of Donald and Elizabeth McDonald (of Tore). He had a brother Alexander, born in 1837. I also have a friend in California whose grandfather, Donald McDonald, was born in Killearnan in 1869, son of Alexander McDonald and Catherine Dallas (married at Quarry of Redcastle).
