My great great grandmother, Catherine McKay was (supposedly) born in Red Castle located on the Black Isle, north of Inverness, near town of Milton. We visited the Castle in 1989 and even though had not been used since WWII was still fun to see and rather intact. Later, the roof was taken off and it is not nearly demolished. On the front of the Castle was a box with big initials...McK...referred to long-time owners, McKenzies instead of our McKay! Marilyn Cameron Stinson
