Just for your information Greg, there's a scene in that film (shot behind Callander) where you can see a bus in the distance, kinda like the car in the recent Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. Disney have recently released their 1959 version of the Scottish novel 'Kidnapped' on DVD starring Peter Finch (Aussie actor), and Russ Tamblin ("book-'im Danno!!") and it's certainly the most faithful adaptation on film. They've recently been releasing some of their live-action back-catalogue, so Rob Roy might not be far behind. Please let me know if you get any more news.
