We found an interesting graveyard while out walking today - near Conan House, Conon Bridge. I don't know anything about researching gravestones, but I was interested at finding a graveyard covering quite a long period, with no obvious vehicular access, and with several species of wild flowers in bloom. Legible gravestones of which I took photographs include * Thomas, Hugh Fraser, and Eleanor Shaw - children who died 1882 * K J Ramsey MacLennan, OBE, died 1988 * Isabella and Kenneth MacLennan, children who died 1849 * Christopher MacDonald, Deputy Commissary of Ordinance (sic), Calcutta, died 1850 Anyone wishing to see these and other pics of the graveyard, please email me.
