Fiona, I have noted that one of the names you are interested in is McLeay. Our Aunt who has just passed away 17 days short of her 100th birthday married a John McLeay and I am sure at least John grew up in Avoch - he had two brothers and a sister BUT from the 4 sibblings only one son forthcoming and he in turn has no children - so that line will die out completely.
