Hello again Listers, I am still looking for any direct descendants of our immediate family, there must still be some left over there.John McLennan married Ann McDonald feb 12 1839 at Urray and their son JOHN MacLENNAN was the gamekeeper at Corryeach Kintail in 1881 ----JOHN MacLENNAN married MARY MACRAE on November 19 1874 at LOCHALSH and they had a large family according to the new MACRAE book published in NZ and AUSTRALIA a couple of years ago by MOLLY AKERS.Their first three children were ANN-DUNCAN-and JOHN.I have a copy of their marriage certificate so I know that is correct.Sir Alexander Matheson saw my Grandfather Ewen Donald McLennan in 1924 and I have a copy of lots of the old letters but I cannot seem to get any further and so some help would be very welcome.
