Kate Ferris Isle of Lewis Fm: Ann Urquhart, Ullapool Museum, Scotland Dt: 18th April 2001 MUSEUM OPENING TIMES AND GENEALOGY INFO Thank you for your e-mail enquiry which we received last week. The museum is open every day, except Sunday, 9.30am to 5.30pm. From the beginning of November we will be on shorter hours and open only on three or four days. We have all the census records for the Parish of Lochbroom from 1841 till 1891. We also have Old Parish Records on microfilm and some of that information is also available on handy index cards. Also, we have the Vaulation Rolls from 1868-1949. We also have the index to the Old Parish Records on microfiche for Sutherland, Caithness and Ross-shire. ...(A little bit followed for me)... .........Although genealogy searches are free, if you wish us to do it on your behalf we do the first half hour free.
