I too would be interested in info about the availability of records. I'm trying to track info about my great-great grandfather Hugh Fraser. On his son William's marriage certificate (1863) Hugh is said to have been a Military Pensioner, deceased. They lived in the Parish of Urquhart and Logie Wester. Lilian
