I am particularly interested in the areas of Tain, Fearn and Cromarty. _________________________________________________________________________ Hello Judy, If you look on the Scottish Genealogy Society website you will find all the books you need to solve your problems. www.scotsgenealogy.com Regards, John D. Hi folks, Saw this posting yesterday so thought I'd better respond. Very little of Ross-shire has been recorded or transcribed. The Scottish Genealogy Society really hasn't printed any Ross-shire M.I.'s. The Highland Family History Society are undergoing a very busy programme of recording them but apart from Alness and Dingwall, most of those done to date are on the Black Isle. Fearn and Tain certainly haven't been done yet and nor has Tarbat (Portmahomack).
