Hi Hazel: I also have a Norman MacLeod and can only guess he was born about 1793 in Kilpheader, North Uist, Scotland. He was the brother to my g-g-g-grandmother and his parents were Dr Murdoch MacLeod and Mary MacLean. A cousin of this Norman's was a sailor and later went to Austalia to live. I have supected some of the MacLeod's went there also but I have no info other then this. Would sure like to find a connection. Lorraine Ottawa, Canada P.S.
