Hi, I'm new at this trying to find a connection. Hector Mcintosh born abt. 1755 in Elrig,Strathnaine, Scotland married Mary Mckay born about 1730 in Scotland. Hector's parents seem to be William John Macintosh and Margaret Monoe married abt. 1750 Parents probably from the same area of the country. I could not find the Elrig or Strathnaine area on any maps. Where is that?. What parish would they be from? Where would I find census and burial records on line? William and Margaret had other children:Alexander abt 1753, John abt. 1755 married barbara Mc Leod Margaret 1758 who married Unk Osborn Jannet abt. 1760 married Robert McKay Thanks for the help Rev.
