Our ancestor John Lawrence died on 22nd March, 1891 at Avoch and is buried there. His wife Janet Lawrence died 24th April, 1907 at 4 George Street, Avoch. (she was nee Janet More). I have two queries: Is it possible for me to obtain the information as to whether there is a tombstone for these two ancestors at the Avoch cemetery. and next: Does 4 George street still exist and would it be possible to obtain photos of both the above. I look forward to receiving replies. Joy Calder in Western Australia.

No. 216 in the Booklet is as follows- (Curves) In memory of John Lawrence died at Avoch 22nd March 1891 aged 70 yrs; also his beloved wife Janet More died at Avoch 24th April 1907 aged 82 yrs; their daughter Jessie died 25th June 1928 aged 68 yrs; also son David died in infancy. I lived near there many years ago and George Street is still in existence. I am sorry I cannot help with photos but maybe someone over there might be able to help. Cheerio, Donald.
