I have been searching for a Macrae booklet which I saw at the Inverness Library. The genealogist ? McLoed had a copy which he said could not be copied. He told me it was from Nova Scotia and I would be able to find a copy there. I have not found anyone who knows anything about it. I have written to the Inverness Library and have had no response. Do any of you know about this booklet? My family Farquhar McRae May 18, 1816 Applecross This birthday was on his gravestone. We keep trying to connect him with Rory and Florence McDonald McRae from Miltown near Applecross. He came to NS with his sister Anne McRae who married John MacRae in Scotland. They are both buried in Man O' War cemetery Cape Breton. They were supposed to have arrived in NS c1840s His wife was Isabella Campbell d/o Alexander Campbell and Janet Urquhart and she was born at Lochbroom, Scotland April 13, 1813. The family went to NS c 1828. Would appreciate any clues. Mary in Oregon
