Searching for any info. on the marriage of: Col. George Munroe to Mary Matheson, daughter of Dr. Matheson of Inver?, Rosshire. They had two children, John and Annie. John died in the West Indies, Annie died in Ireland. George Munroe later married my Christina Gordon, widow of Donald Sutherland of Meikleferry, Donald died 1798. Thanks to all, Theresa Coleman Note, George Munro later died while crossing the sand behind the Meikleferry and was drowned. Supposidly this was after his brothers wedding.
