Hello- I am looking for information on the family of 2 brothers, Kenneth and Alexander MacAulay. According to LDS, obits, and census records in Alpena, Michigan, USA, Kenneth was born in 1824 in 5 Upper Bayble, Stornoway, Ross And Cromarty, Scotland. Alexander was born in 1830, Stornoway, Ross And Cromarty, Scotland. They both left Stornoway. Alexander moved to Alpena Michigan before 1871. Kenneth made his way to Keith, Banff-shire, where he married Jessie Morrison. They had three children, John [1858], Alexander [1860], and Margaret [1862]. John joined the British Army in 1876-7, serving in the Scots Guard in the Eygptian Campaigns. Kenneth and the 2 younger children left Scotland in 1883 to join his brother in the USA.
