John MacKENZIE, (McKenzie) farmer, Applecross - spouse, Lilias MCKAY Sons - Kenneth MacKENZIE - chr. Applecross 1825 Alexander MacKENZIE - chr Fearn 1823 Kenneth & Alexander migrated to Nova Scotia, whether John and Lillias took them there is not known. Kenneth married 1849, Margaret MacKENZIE (mn) Gairloch, and returned to Nova Scotia. Kenneth (member of the crew), wife and family, brother Alex also member of crew migrated to New Zealand on the brig 'SPRAY'. Settling at Waipu with the majority of the Nova Scotians, Kenneth now known as Kenneth Omaha spent the rest of his life in command of ships in the South Seas.
