Hi to all, I am researching my GGGrandfather, Henry (Harry) Bain, b. 6 Sep 1808 in Kiltearn,Ross-shire,Scotland. I have a problem, and I hope that someone can help me with it. On his death certificate, it states that his Father (my GGGGrandfather) was William Bain b. abt 1764 in Balnaloch,Urquhart,R&C,Scotland. His Mother is stated to be Kathryn McKenzie b. 11 abt 1768 in Urquhart & Logie Wester, Ross-shire,Scotland. They were married 11 Dec 1789 in Balnaloch. Further checking indicates that his Father was William Bain, but that his Mother was Isobell Urquhart. They were married 16 Mar 1792, in Kiltearn. Would someone be so kind as to see which of these is correct, and also to advise about siblings, etc. I would be very appreciative of any and all effort expended. Thank you in advance, Allen S.
