Hello all I am looking for Frasers and Camerons somewhere in Ross shire, specifically a James Fraser who married a Barbara Cameron. They had a child Ann Fraser who was apparently born in 1803. I know nothing else about them except that they may have emigrated to Nova Scotia, or Ann may have married Alexander MacKenzie in Inverness. All I really know for a certainty was they, Alexander and Ann were in Boularderie, Nova Scotia by the 1830's and stayed there until 1857 when they emigrated to New Zealand. Alexander was born in Melvaig, he was the son of Duncan MacKenzie, Weaver of Melvaig and Janet (Jennet MacDonald). Does anyone perchance have any of these people in their trees?
