Seeking comments re history, particularly laxfishers on estate in 1825-30. My ancestor given a middle name Conan (Andrew Conan Leslie), may have been born there. Parents Alexander & Jean Leslie had been lax fishing in Beauley, and were in 1830s on the Mackenzie estate in Lewis.
