Hello to the list, Does anyone have any information on a William Ross that married Margaret Ewing? They were born 1764 in Northville, Cayuga Co., NY. They had a son also named William, b. 26 April 1789 in Northville, Cayuga Co., NY. He married Phoebe Ogden and they had three children: Charles Ross, Theresa Ross, and Clarissa Ross. My wife descends from Charles Ross. Yes, Clarissa Ross is the one that married Brigham Young. She was born on 12 June 1814 and was married on 10 September 1844. She died on 17 October 1858 in Salt Lake city, Utah. We have the Ogden family back to 1450. However, we can't get beyond the William Ross that was born in Northville in 1764.
