I keep trying to solve the mystery of my great grandfather's siblings, cousins, parents, or other relatives. He is Lazarus Ross (b. 1804) in Ohio or Kentucky. Submitted DNA through FamilyTree and I'm listed in the YSearch. Long ago the family Bible was lost (at least in our branch). Might I presume he was the son of a patriot? If he had Native American in him would that have negatively effected the record of his beginnings? Married first to Sarah Jane Rachford (Ohio). Second marriage (to my gr-grandmother): widow Malinda (nee Derrough) Young (Clermont, OH). Hope I haven't rambled too much -- mystified in my research. Marvin rossarts@cox.net
