Would someone explain to me how you go about having a DNA test done ? Can men & women have it & get the same results ? Who deciphers the results & what specific information do you get to check lineage ? Approximately how much does it cost ? For an aside in this ROSS morass. Many years ago I read in my Scottish Highlander subscription that the reason the ROSSES were given permission to wear the STEWART Tartan was because they fought alongside the STEWARTS in many bloody battles in Scotland. Perhaps there was something more than fighting going on in those battles ?
