William is in Atwater near Azariah Ross in the 1820 census, Almon is in Randolph near Azariah Ross in the 1830 census their children, such as we think we know of them were; Mr. Ross b. 1818-1820 OH Mary Ross b. abt 1821 OH d. 5 Feb 1866 Hudson, Summit Co., Ohio m. Ira H. Bunnell Miss Ross b. 1820-1825 OH-there is a Sophronia Ross b. abt 1827 in Summit Co. in 1850-who is she? Azariah Ross b. abt 1827, d. 27 Jan 1856 Hudson, Summit Co., OH-did he m. Sarah Lucinda Ward, or is that another Azariah Ross? if another Azariah, who is that one? L. Maria Ross b. abt 1829 OH there is this notice-Portage County Democrat, 20 Apr 1864, (pg 49), Ross, Mariah - Hudson, res of "J". H. Bunnell, 32Y (b. abt 1832?) this doesn't fit with the date for L. Maria's birth year hypothesised from the 1850 census. Mr. Ross b. 1830-1835 OH Cynthia Ross b. 7 May 1836 Randolph, Portage, OH, d. 16 Aug 1910 Yankton, Yankton, S. Dakota m. John Young Pearson in the 1850 Portage OH census, Cynthia is at the home of John Whittlesey and Sally Chittenden. I suspect them to be Cynthia's aunt and uncle. this is not yet well documented as the records for this family are difficult to find. I am hoping to find a will for Azariah Ross, but so far have had no luck. I suspect that Cynthia was the only surviving child of Azariah and Polly, and the only one to have children. she had 3 daughters, one of which was my great grandmother.
