I am trying to track a Clarence Ross, b. December, 1886, to Ambrose S. Ross and Sarah Emma Self Ross. Ambrose and Sarah Emma were married March 18, 1886, in Orange County, IN. Ambrose died sometime between 1895-1900 and Clarence went to live with his Uncle, John Thomas Self, in Knox County, IN. The 1910 census (April 26, 1910) has a Clarence Ross, Illinois, Lawrence Co., Denton Twp., ED 124 page 7B, age 23, born Ind. parents Ind., hired hand. Lawrence County appears to be right across the Wabash River from Knox County, IN. Can anyone help me in determining whether this is "my Clarence" and what happened to him next? Any assistance would be appreciated! (note that I have already traced another Clarence (Clarence R.Ross, also born Indiana, 1886. Only to find that he was of different lineage). Thanks for your help!
