JOSEPH ROSS PASSES AWAY Prominent Farmer of Greenbush Township Dies of Heart Trouble. (Special to the Republican-Register) Avon Ill, Feb 18 (1916) � Joseph ROSS, one of the well-known farmers of the Greenbush neighborhood, passed away at his house on Monday of heart trouble. He was born on December 1, 1851 in Berwick Township. He was united in marriage with Miss Marjorie SIMMONS on September 8, 1878. To this union eight children were born, seven of whom are living. They are David J., Frank E., both of Greenbush; Claude of Abingdon, Mrs. Maude Meadows of Berwick, and Clare, Opal and Hazel at home. The deceased was the son of Thomas and Mary ROSS. Three brothers and one sister are also left to mourn his death. They are Felix of Shenandoah, Ia; Mitchell of High Mound, Neb, and Milt of Floris, Okla., and Mrs. Mary GARRISON of Garnet, Kan. There are also two half-brothers, Stock ROSS of London Mills, Moses ROSS of North Dakota. The funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o�clock in Greenbush cemetery.
