Dear Liza, My maiden name was also ROSS. I have traced them back to Delaware in the 1700-1800's. Then they went westward, everywhere. Some of the first names of my family-Gibson, William, Nathaniel, Caleb, Nancy, Edward, Mitchell, Charles, Thomas, Stockton J., Walter, Silas, Vernon, Milton, Joseph, James, Susannah. They were related to the former governor of Delaware - William Henry Harrison ROSS. Any of this sound familiar ? Happy to receive any information or clues.
