Dear List Just thought I notify the list that today upon opening this email account, I had just a few new emails. They came from one of either two mailing lists I subscribe to, this being one of them. Apparently through a post to the list(? - I don't see how but all recent emails received recently have been posts directly from these lists) I also was emailed a virus that came across entitled HAHAHA and the subject line refers to Snow White. Upon checking this out (I had prior warning of such a virus and knew not to open the attachment) via Symantec this virus is aka W95.Hybris.gen and this is a worm that spreads by email as an attachment to outgoing emails, the attachment may have many different names. This particular one was joke.exe. I apologize for this post not being strictly of a genealogical nature, but being that the only email I use this account for is these 2 mailing lists, or responses to/from these 2 lists, I thought it would be wise to notify through them.
