Hi All, Need help finding info on Joseph Ross b. ? d. 1806 Jefferson Co. Ohio. He and wife ( unknown) had sons Jacob and Absalom. Absalom known as first white child b. in Jefferson County ca 1784. Absalom married Anna Hadsell in 1813 and was found later living in Wva. I believe that Absalom is father of James B. Findley Ross my 2nd great grandfather and that he had a sister named Editha who married a Floyd. James went by Findley and married Susanna Cunningham in Wva 1846 and in 1853 migrated to Missouri with some other family members. If anyone has any information relating to any of these folks, or even thinks they do, :) please contact me. I have to have this information in order to proceed back to find my original roots.
