Every Ross genealogist has a "missing" James Ross. Mine is James Ross born 6-28-1831 in Bath County, VA.. Actually James Ross isn't missing but his parents are. He moved to Harrison County (West) Virginia in 1845 and married Catherine Kuykendall of Barbour County (West) Virginia born 5-2-1833 on 3-28-1851 in Harrison County. There were several Ross families in Bath County but I haven't yet been able to connect them. --Dick Ross
