    3. Hello list members, 01 Mar 1845 Liberty Twp., Big Springs, Crawford, Indiana; Isaac Ross entered into an agreement with one Joseph Ross of Hardin Co., state of Illinois, for the sale of personal property, the value of which was $75, including one gray mare, a bookcase, four beds, several hand tools, eight head of sheep, a kettle, dutch oven, and other items. Isaac was the grantor, Joseph the grantee. Then Isaac, who apparently owed to Joseph the $75, assigned it to him. The deal was recorded by E. E. Morgan, RCC, Crawford County, Indiana. I am interested in any information that may be available on the above mentioned Joseph Ross or Isaac Ross. Joseph could have been Isaac's father, brother, or son??? Or maybe not related. Thanks in advance. Here's hoping!
