Hi, I am new to this list and am researching the family of my grandmother Alice Louisa Ross. Alice was the daughter of Hugh Ross and Louisa Margaret Chrystal. Hugh was born in Lairg, Scotland and he died 21 February 1915 in Fairlie, New Zealand. I have no dates of when he was born, nor when he travelled out to New Zealand. I have managed to get some info from the National Archives in New Zealand regarding some of the family, as yet I am not sure where they fit in. I believe Alice had 2 sisters, Mary Jane who married Henry Rapsey Struthers and Jessie Leah who married Thomas Bruce Smith. The only brother I have been able to find so far is Hugh Chrystal Ross who died 22 October 1923 in Fairlie, New Zealand. I would appreciate some help if anyone knows of this family, or is researching them too. Thanks Jeni
