Ross born in Limmerick Barracks, Limmerick,Ire. about August 1819. He was christened in the Catholic Church there in Limmerick. His parents names were Hugh Ross and Phlemy. George said that his father was a highlander and his mother a lowlander. George W. Ross sailed to Canada and married Deborah Sipprell in north Walsingham Twp. Norfolk Co., Ontatio. They lived there and died there. They are buried in the Sipprell burying grounds on the old family property. George and Debra had 12 children. This is a summary of the information I have.
