Having watched the list for a week or so it seems as though most of the ROSS families under investigation are in the US but I'll give it a go anyway! I have very little information about my family but what I have was gathered from my reluctant grandmother (Grace Winifred ROSS - see below) before she died in 1988. Unfortunately she couldn't understand why I was interested in the past! I believe that although John Howard ROSS and Emilie KERR married in Dublin, they both came from the north. Apparently John Howard's mother was living in Belfast at the turn of the century. John & Emilie's marriage entry gives his occupation as Jeweller and his father, Robert John ROSS, as Mechanical Engineer. My grandmother also mentioned staying with relatives by the name of KNOX, including an Anna Mary KNOX. I don't know if these would be related to the ROSS family or the KERR's though. Nathaniel ROSS was a presbyterian minister and eventually went to South Africa where I believed he married but had no children. His sister Grace Jane ROSS died unmarried.
