    1. [ROSS-L] Just a suggestion to listmembers
    2. Hi all, I am delighted that there are so many Ross researchers out there and glad to see that the amount of email queries on this list has picked up. I would like to suggest (I am not the listowner and I hope the LO doesn't mind my making this suggestion), for the sake of all the listmembers, that we begin to follow a more strict subject line policy. I opened my digest mail today and got a quite a few subject lines that were repeated names, replies, or just simply said Ross on them. It would be helpful to know which Ross you are researching and what time period. It would also be helpful to know where your Ross-kin lived. Something like "Ross, James (1745-1801) Somerset County, PA" would be better than "Looking for my James Ross" or just "James Ross" If your Ross moved from place to place, you can put Ross, James SCT>PA>OH>SC or something like that! Sorry to be such a pain but I get lots of email (as do many of you) and a clearly defined subject line makes it easier to know what the email is about. Best Wishes, Carol Hepburn [email protected] Phoenix, AZ USA Home: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cheps/ Work: http://www.acepromotions.net/
