Since everyone else is posting James Ross, here is mine. James Ross born 1793 KY married Nancy Miller born 1800 KY. They were married in Estill Co.KY May or 1814. I believe James is the son of John Ross Sr. from Madison Co.KY. This John came from Greenville SC to Madison Co.KY in 1791. He gave his land away to his children in KY just before he died in 1844. I believe he gave my James cash to move to MO around 1820 so James didn't get any land. I know Nancy Miller's family were in Madison just before county lines changed and Estill was made from Madison.
