Setteled in Georgia. Had a son named William. William # 2 had my ggg-grandfather Robert Ross. Robert married Elizabeth Wilkins/Watkins and had Russell Ross. Russell married wife # 1 Elizabeth J Varner and they had John William Russell Ross. Russell married second time to Mary Ann Amanda Powell.John William Russell Ross married Matilda Jane Puntch in Cooke Co. TX. I have info to share. Would like to hear from someone that knows more about the William Ross from Scotland or any of the others mentioned.
