Hello All- I am researching an African-American line of the Ross family in Garrard/Lincoln/Boyle County Kentucky. At this point I am up to Jerry Ross and Jack Ross born around 1835 - 1845 in either Garrard or Lincoln County Kentucky. Most recently I have been made aware of a Robert Ross (White) who may have owned either of these gentlemen or own their father (possibly named Jerry as well). Robert Ross is listed on the 1830 census in Garrard County as follows: Robert Ross 3 males 20 to 30 1 female 60 to 70 1 female 20 to 30 one female less than 5 Slaves: 6 males 10 to 24 2 males less than 10 1 female 36 to 55 1 female less than 10 If anyone has any information on either line I would appreciate it. At this point information concerning Robert Ross would be very helpful in discovering the diaspora of my familly.
