Hi, Jennie, Do you happen to know where in England your Alexander Ross was born? The reason I ask is that my 5 g'father was Alexander Ross, b prob in the early 1700's in Scotland. He was "Alexander Ross of Balnagowen/Balnagowan." And the given name of Alexander has been used many times since my 4 g'grandmother, Jane Ross, married William ROBERTSON, of Monymusk, Sct. Jane is the only child that I know of, and I don't even know what Alexander's wife's name was. If you have any info on this family, I'd be eternally grateful for any help you can give me!
