Just found a Barbara Ross born 1854 listed in the 1881 Halifax, Nova Scotia Census listed as wife of my Grandfather Andrew Ross born 1853. I always suspected he was married twice. Does anyone have Barbara Ross in their genealogy? Did Barbara die before he married Eleanor Studivan or were Barbara and he divorced? Thanks for any information. It is possible Barbara's given name was Webber since this family lived next door to them and my father, before he died in 1956, once told us Uncle Charles Webber was his half-brother.
