Seeking information on Clarence Ross, b. December, 1886: Here's what I have: In his youth, following the death of his father, Ambrose S. Ross, Clarence lived with his uncle, John Thomas Self, in Knox County, IN. 1910 census has a Clarence Ross, Illinois, Lawrence Co., Denton Twp., ED 124 page 7B, age 23 , born IN, parents IN. He was a hired hand-farm laborer-working out. He was in the household of Jules Gognat, who was a widow. Lawrence County, IL appears to be right across the Wabash River from Knox County, IN. Was he eventually married? Children? Date/place of death? Anyone have anything on this Clarence and/or his family? Thanks! Michael
