Hi I'm searching for the ancestors of Donald Ross (born Kincardine in Ross-Shire 12 November 1821 and married Isabella Aird). I believe that Donald was the son of Alexander Ross and Ann Munro. The 1841 census shows this couple living in Kincardine - Dounie or Dunie - with a son called Donald - but unfortunately the age of the Donald in the census (15 in 1841) doesn't quite tally with the birth date given above. I believe, further, that Alexander Ross's father was another Donald Ross who married "an Irish woman". This information comes from a family tree my grandfather prepared some time ago.
