Susan (Dry), I have an Alexander ROSS who was b in Scotland in the early 1700's, in Aberdeenshire. His home (or estate) was called Balnagowen, and has been restored in recent years. I don't know the name of his wife, but one of his children was Jane, who marr William ROBERTSON. William was an architect. Three of their children were Andrew, Alexander, and Archibald. I 'm descended from Archibald. Any chance these ROSSes could be connected to yours?? Barbara in MO
