I don't see a connection except for the same name. I know nothing so far about my great great grandfather and am not absolutely sure that he was the one who emigrated to Canada. Perhaps, it was his father. I don't know any of the surnames you posted. I know of no one in the family who had connections in Australia. The son of Hugh Ross was William Ross (talk about names to try to trace!!) and then William Delancy Ross and my father Edmond Delancy Ross. Thanks for writing. Dan
