That is really interesting. I too thought that we were prob from Scotland originally. I am fairly new at this and having trouble going backwards from my bunch in Missouri, Ok. I am particularly interested in the George Ross signer of the Declaration of Independence. It is said that one of my ancestors was a signor. Could George's middle name have been Governor? That is what I have heard on my end but not totally validated. However, I have seen that name among my ancestor list. Any info that would help would be greatly appreciated.
