What I have wrote down is: Children of William Ross and Mary Ann Hendrix Ross: 1.William Columbus Ross-no info. 2.Sarah Martha Ross-b. 1843, in McNairy Co.Tn.Possibly died before Sept.24,1876. 3.Winney E.Ross-no info. 4.Bezaleel Absalom-no info. 5.Rebecca Cathrine-b. 1848,McNairy Co.Tn.and died after 1900,po probably Hunt Co.Tx. 6.Issac Rice Ross-no info. 7.James D.F.Ross-b.Aug.20,1855,McNairy Co.Tn. and died July 27,1932 at Weleetka,Okfuskee Co.Ok. 8.John A.Ross-b. 1858,McNairy Co.Tn. and died 1875. 9.Nancy A.Ross-b.Purdy,McNairy Co.Tn. Mary Hendrix father was Issac Hendrix-b.abt.1800 in NC. I found this information at Ancestry.com and searched by locality in McNairy Co.Tn.--Datatabase--Ancestry world tree viewer. I put in the name MaryAnn Hendrix. The other Absalom I found was in Ancestry.com. under: Rice Farrar Ross-b.12-3-1776 in NC.or SC. He died 4-8-1856 at Rome,Floyd GA. Rice married Sarah A.Bonham. Sarah was born 10-5-1787 at Lincoln NC.and died 3-29-1849 at Manchester,Coffee,Tn. Rice father was(unknown).His mother was Elizabeth McBee. This is Rice and Sarah's chid lren: 1.Absolom Bonham Ross-b. 4-25-1804 at Lincolnton,Lincoln,NC. Death was after 7-16-1861 at Rome GA. He married Nancy Echols. 2.Malinda McBee Ross-b. 4-26-1809 at Rome GA. GA. 3.Bezaleel Wier Ross -no info. 4.Sophronia Ross-b. 11-2-1812 at Greenville,SC.and died before 1871 & 1880 at Coffee Co.Tn. 5.William W. Ross-b. 1815. 6.Harriet C.Ross(female)b. 3-26-1847 Bedford Co.Tn. 7.John Fry Ross-b.1815/21 at Coffee Co.Tn. and died 8-8-1868 at KcKinney,Tx. 8.Andrew M.Ross-b.4-20-1823 at Coffee,Tn. and died after 7-16-1861 at Tx. 9.Oliver Franklin Ross-b.7-12-1825 at Coffee,Tn. and died after 8-26-1848. 10.Emily F.Ross-b.12-11-1827 at Coffee,Tn. and died after 11-8-1860. 11.Silas McBee Ross-b.12-25-1832 at Hillboro,Coffee,Tn.and died 11-29-1863 at Knoxville,Knox,Tn. Our James Ross came to Barry co.MO.by 1842/43 from McNairy Co.Tn. I dont know if he was born there or not,but that is where he married Charity(Charlotte)Baze in 1841.I am searching for him or his siblings and his parents. Charity was born at Knox co.Tn.abt.1820/25.
