C., on the 13th of February, Caleb Ross, aged about 5 years. Associate Reformed Presbyterian Death & Marriage Notices, 1843-1863, p.6 Died at Coddle Creek, N. C. on 6th April, Mrs. Margaret Cochran, wife of Robert Cochran, Jr., aged 35 years and 8 months. Mrs. Cochran was a daughter of Mr. Adam Ross, an elder in the church at Coddle Creek, who also died on the 4th November last. They all died of scarlet fever. In four days these parents buried three of their children. Two of them in one day.
