Hi Donna, Captain Isaac Ross's son, Isaac Ross Jr. and Sarah Elliott Ross had two sons I believe: John Isaac Ross, Sr. and Isaac Allison Ross. Isaac Ross, Jr. died in 1832. Sarah then married a Levin Marshall. Does that book mention anything about when Sarah Elliott Ross Marshall died, and also her birth and parents? Thanks! I will ask my cousin to try to make a list of the names of people buried there. As for myself, I am looking for the family of Minnie Mae Ross Walls Coryell. She was born in KC,MO in 1865, her second wedding was in KC, MO to Willis Coryell from Oskaloosa, IA. She lived in Wyandotte County, KS in 1890 when my grandfather was born. Unfortunately, even though she died in 1921, there was no death certificate ever filed for her and I have no clue who her parents or siblings might have been. That's all I know right now, but am still looking!! Bonnie

This is for Bonnie Fairbank, but others may have a connection here, too. Bonnie, I'm not sure, but I don't think I've written you before. Your last name caught my attention, as I'm descended from the Fairbanks family in Dedham, MA. Is that your family, too? If so, I'd love to compare and see if we have the same line. Hope to hear from you! Best, Barbara in MO

Posted on: Ross Family Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/Ross/514 Surname: Ross ------------------------- Hi Patty, You say your grandmother has gave you a book listing several families in Mo in the late 1800's? I have been searching for my gr-grandmother's family. Her name is Minnie Mae (Ross) Walls Coryell and was born in Kansas City, MO in July of 1865. I have no idea who her parents or siblings are. Her second marriage to Willis Coryell took place in Kansas City, Mo but he was from Iowa. Does this book list any Ross' from KC? I am most appreciative of any and all information I can get. Thanks in advance, Bonnie Fairbank
Posted on: Ross Family Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/Ross/513 Surname: Ross, Steinman ------------------------- I don't know if this will help, but while searching in the Carter Cemetery of Albany, Gentry County, MO for my Steinman family, I came across numerous Ross family headstones. I only wish I had photographed them because my gr-grandmother was Minnie Mae Ross. The reason I mention this to you, is that my Steinman ancestor was married in Bethany and had one of her children in Albany. When I was there this summer, I drove to Albany from Bethany and it is only about 19 miles from one to the other. I hope to have a cousin in St. Joe,MO drive up and copy down the information on all the stones. If she does, I will post it here for you. Bonnie Fairbank
