I am looking for information about the parents of my great-grandfather Thomas Israel Washington Rose. He was born 4 Mar 1886 in WV, probably in McDowall County. He married about 1906 and died 5 Nov 1964. His wife is Marthat Luvina Mitchem. She was born 14 Mar 1889 in WV and died the same day as Thomas. She had a heart attack and as they were being driven to the hospital they were in a car accident and the both died. Thomas is the only child of Sonny Lambert and Elsie Rose, both of WV. Sonny and Elsie never married. Elsie later married a man named Frank Palmer or Parmer, he was Italian (my grandmother learned a few numbers in Italian from him, but once got mad at him and said "You're not my granny pop!") Anyway, I know nothing else about either Sonny or Elsie and very little about Thomas and would be glad to hear from someone with more info.
