I haven't had any luck finding out about my grandmother's mother. She died in 1904,when my grandmother was 4.My grandmother's maiden name was ROSE.On information I received about my grandparents marriage it stated "daughter of ALEX ROSE and FANNY FOUNTAIN".Would this be her natural mother or her step-mother? Her father did remarry and they had a daughter named NEVADA. I've been unable to find any information on FANNY FOUNTAIN, I did find ALEX ROSE on the OCFA but I don't know where he was buried and there were several listed. My grandmother was born in Midland, Ont. on June 30, 1900, and died December 5,1994.This is all of the information I have on my grandmother's family.
