I can not believe that people are complaining about Obituary postings on a genealogy list is "like" junk mail. "What is genealogy?" I have been a member of this list for over two years, and appreciate the time and energy someone puts into this list. All postings are archived, and will help someone today, yesterday, or years down the line. I have the feeling that some people think family research is so easy, that they can just post a "I am looking for ABC Rose" period and expect all their family info will come to them by "THE List". I have not found any of "my" ROSE family members that have been lost from these postings.. YET... but hope to. I think that people who are whinning about this, should start posting, reposting and quering IN DETAIL about their ROSE family they are searching for. I am more tired of reading... " I am looking for John Rose family somehwere in Michigan. Can any of you help?" No time frame, no area mentioned, but just a state (if we are lucky). I say MO.... good job, thank you for all the time and research you do for this list. Keep it going, no one else contributes an ounce compared to your tons!! After all... this IS an archive list. I appreciate you for all your time and energy you put into this list.
